Sylvie played drums for the Brooklyn-based indie band Her and the Grey for two years before joining the pop-soul quartet Phanrosy, also on drums. She provides piano accompaniment at a local ballet school, and participates regularly in Big Ed Sullivan's World Famous Blues Jam at the Red Lion on Bleecker Street.
